- ➤ The Providence Public Library and Rhode Island Historical Society have partnered with a national program to digitize the state’s historic newspapers (free access will be available through the Library of Congress website). - ➤ Protesters gathered outside Providence City Hall (Saturday, Jan. 10) to oppose U.S. military actions in Venezuela and demand that President Maduro and his wife be released. 10 WJAR

- ➤ Five Iron Golf now offers an indoor golf experience with lessons, club fittings & over 200 simulated courses and weekday happy hour specials from 3-6 p.m. Indoor golf leagues will begin Monday, Feb. 9 & feature local course play. The Providence Journal
