Good morning, Providence.

Council President Rachel Miller will introduce a city ordinance to stabilize rents on Tuesday following a Providence Foundation study that criticized rent control policies — a term supporters prefer over the harsher label.

A press conference will detail the plan’s next steps.

Drake Maye's wife, Ann Michael Maye (married in 2025), has gone viral in New England with her TikTok baking tutorials and supportive posts during the Patriots' playoff run.

The former UNC student now teaches classes at Higher Ground Fitness and explores local spots such as Newport and Nantucket.

Providence businesses expect a surge in customers today as the Patriots playoff game draws fans to local bars & restaurants and hotels, while a volleyball and hockey tournament add to a lively weekend in the city.
