- ➤ Netflix will release the documentary Secret Mall Apartment on Friday. The film (92-minute) tells the story of eight artists who secretly built an apartment in Providence Place Mall between 2003 and 2007 after first premiering at SXSW in 2024 and at the mall in March 2025. 10 WJAR

- ➤ Yesterday, NOAA noted that a G4 geomagnetic storm made northern lights potentially visible across parts of the country, though partly cloudy skies in Rhode Island might have blocked the view (best time was between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m.). The Providence Journal
- ➤ This week marks 30 years since over 800,000 gallons of home heating oil spilled into Narragansett Bay near Moonstone Beach — NOAA data shows 9 million lobsters, 4 million fish, and over one million pounds of other sea life were lost. 10 WJAR
