- ➤ A kitchen fire displaced 22 people in a building on Liberty Street in Central Falls on Feb. 19 and the Fire Marshal’s Office confirmed it was caused by a hood vent issue over the stove—no injuries were reported after all occupants evacuated. 10 WJAR

- ➤ Trinity Rep in Providence is staging two plays in repertory, The Roommate features a modern sitcom twist and The Winter’s Tale offers a playful update on Shakespeare. The production runs through March 22 at 201 Washington St. with ticket prices from $24 to $113 (plus fees). The Boston Globe
