- ➤ Newport police responded around 7:20 p.m. Monday to a Bellevue parking lot where they found a Salve Regina University student charging his phone in a car with a snow-covered exhaust; he was later pronounced dead from carbon monoxide poisoning during the blizzard. 10 WJAR
