Brown University students, faculty and staff are showing appreciation to local Providence businesses and leaders through the Brown Loves Providence initiative that began on Feb.

19, 2026 by delivering gift bags, handwritten notes + tokens as part of a coordinated effort to thank the city. The initiative continues through mid-March.
