- ➤ On Friday, a highway on-ramp in Cranston fell onto train tracks, so Amtrak cancelled trains & RIDOT worked through the night to check the scene while closing the ramp and urging drivers to take alternate routes. Go Local Prov

- ➤ State Representative Ray Hull (a police officer) announced his backing of mayoral candidate Brett Smiley, reversing past criticism and supporting Smiley’s plan to strengthen Providence. The endorsement comes ahead of the reelection campaign. Go Local Prov
