- ➤ A truck crash is blocking traffic on I-95 North at exit 41B for School Street in Pawtucket as a truck resting on the median has blocked lanes, the Rhode Island Department of Transportation said. The Providence Journal

- ➤ Amazon Prime Day 2025 has begun and will run from July 8 through July 11 as the Johnston warehouse gets busy shipping deals on laptops, Apple products, and home goods for Amazon Prime members. The four day sale features extended shopping hours, a six month trial for students, and customers can use Alexa+ to track daily discount drops. The Providence Journal

- ➤ A Pawtucket man, 32-year-old Reynaldo Martinez, was sentenced Tuesday to 73 months in jail and three years of supervised release for defrauding SNAP and the U.S. Treasury of over $100,000—he used stolen identities and false documents to obtain benefits and cash. ABC 6

- ➤ Christina Rondeau started her new Menopause Fitness Makeover show for middle-aged women in Rhode Island so they can learn how to exercise and eat better during menopause. - ➤ The Rhode Island Department of Health is offering free skin cancer screenings with Brown Dermatology at local beaches this summer — dermatologists and dermatology residents will screen the first 100 arrivals at sessions on July 12 at Scarborough Beach North in Narragansett from 1 a.m. to 1 p.m., on July 18 at Easton’s Beach in Newport from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., on August 2 at Scarborough Beach North from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and on August 15 at Lincoln Woods State Park in Lincoln; visitors should wear clothing that can be easily removed.
