- ➤ A bear wandered into a Charlestown yard and walked through an inflatable rainbow sprinkler set up for a family's daughter — pawing and climbing on it as cameras captured the unusual encounter. The sprinkler deflated as the bear left and moved toward the woods. 10 WJAR
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Saturday, July 12th, a fire broke out on the roof of Apple Valley Mall in Smithfield, forcing shoppers to evacuate as firefighters contained a 25-foot burn caused by an accidental HVAC fault — the investigation is ongoing. 10 WJAR
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Late on Friday night a man was assaulted at Kennedy Plaza near the RIPTA facility — he was hit in the head, robbed of his bus pass, and taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment. Go Local Prov
