ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Sunday morning, two prison guards at a maximum security men's prison were revived with Narcan after being exposed to fentanyl, and hazmat teams from Cranston and nearby areas responded during the incident—officials said. 10 WJAR
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Providence Police looked into a shooting after an 18-year-old was found outside Central Station early Sunday morning — he and a friend said their car was shot at on Whelan Road and Flower Street, and he went to the hospital with a wound in his back in stable condition. ABC 6
- ➤ A 19-year-old man was shot multiple times on Flower Street near Merino Park on Sunday morning and taken to Rhode Island Hospital where he remains in stable condition—this incident is part of a series of shootings in the city. Go Local Prov
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Jonathan McClurg, president and CEO of Coastodians, said volunteers are cleaning RI's beaches and shoreline by picking up trash. Dozens of locals have joined this cleanup effort—protecting the coast for future generations. The Providence Journal
