COMMUNITY NEWS

  • Seven local nonprofit leaders said new federal housing rules hurt programs that help homeless people, foster youth, and abuse victims during a November 21 press conference—experts warned that the changes will make it harder for vulnerable groups to get safe, permanent housing—adding that stable homes are key to ending the housing crisis. They stressed the need for policies that keep people in secure housing.  The Providence Journal
