CULTURE NEWS

  • ➤ Rhode Island pizza strips are rectangular pizzas on a focaccia-like crust topped with tomato sauce and a light dusting of Romano cheese served at room temperature—this simple dish highlights a key part of Italian cooking. They originated with Rhode Island Italian American bakers and are sold in local bakeries and grocery store bakeries.  The Providence Journal
