- ➤ Rhode Island Energy warned residents Sunday about 100,000 to 150,000 outages expected from a powerful blizzard with heavy, wet snow and 60 mph winds, and said crews will work through several days to restore power starting with high-load areas. - ➤ The Rhode Island Family Court trial continues as grandparents seek visitation rights with 4-year-old Laila despite her father's $300,000 legal battle to control access.
