- ➤ On Saturday, July 5, 2025, firefighters responded to a second alarm fire on Douglas Avenue in Providence—ABC 6 News crews reported that multiple emergency vehicles were seen and the home had exterior fire damage. ABC 6
- ➤ The Providence Fire Department responded to a fire at two multi-family homes on Douglas Avenue on July 5 — one home is uninhabitable and 11 people were displaced — with no injuries reported as the investigation into the cause continues. 10 WJAR
