The Diocese of Providence announced two potential church mergers in Pawtucket.

Holy Family Parish (combining St. Joseph and Our Lady of Consolation churches) would merge into St. John Paul II Parish and St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish would merge into St. John the Baptist Parish pending review by the Council of Priests and Bishop Bruce A. Lewandowski’s final approval.
